Canada has officially announced the easing of travel restrictions for fully vaccinated travelers. Starting on July 5th, fully vaccinated travelers will no longer need to quarantine for 14 days upon entering the country.

This change applies to individuals who have received the full series of a Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to entering Canada.

Travelers must still provide a negative COVID-19 test result before entering Canada, and they will be required to complete a pre-entry test in addition to the test on arrival.

Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and certain foreign nationals traveling for essential reasons are currently allowed to enter Canada. However, all travelers must submit their travel information, including proof of vaccination, electronically via the ArriveCAN app before boarding their flight.
